Rant Your Heart Out

good things come to those who wait.
i’m typing this — trying to stay calm and collected — and in English [well, as much as i can in my current state of mind]. sorry kung mali-mali rin ang grammar

klara and i arrived @ ayala around 330-4pm. enough time to roam around and search for the place where the tree-lighting will be held. we tried asking people but we couldnt get a straight answer. so we walked and walked until we found an unlit, fully-decorated xmas tree by the greenbelt3 lobby facing the hotel [dunno what hotel that is]. we decided to just wait there around the tree — since we’re tired already — and there is a whole lot of suspicious looking people surrounding the tree itself. we waited and waited until there is this one girl who asked a personnel “Is this for Constantine?” Then there — it was official, we were in the right place.

come 5pm. press ppl and some fans are crowding around the tree already and there was a buzz in the air. then there… actually klara saw him first….. casually walking towards us — as if he’s a normal shopper [maraming foreigners eh]. there was minimal screaming and that jazz — just a buzz and shuffling of feet — trying to get near him and take a pic.

**sympre and lola nyo — throwing caution to the wind — naki-sama na rin sa press ppl. lumapit na ako noh. [pictures will come later]. after the “thank you and welcome” ek-ek of the ayala pipz…. they went straight to business.

we were sooooooo near him. sobra! i’d reckon 2-3 ft from him. corny nung mga emcee — oblivious na hindi nila kilala si constantine as much as we do. so then he picked the last decor and lit up the tree and that’s it.

before he left the tree-site, he sang BoRhap for us…. i got it on video. i’m trying to figure out how to transfer it to my comp from my cel. i didnt know how it was possible, but he eye-boinked my camera! seryoso! twice even!

here comes the good part. we asked the personnel if we can have our stuff signed. she said yeah but we have to catch him on his way out. so sure whatever…. ginawa naman ng mga lola nyo. hinabol namin sya together with mYx…. and this is what happened:

mYx pipz were ‘interviewing’ him as he was walking. there were no bouncers on his right side so i [cate] decided to grab his attention. i ‘elbowed’ him [dont worry, i didnt hurt him tho]. when we had his full attention……..

cate: hey constantine!
con: hey!
klara: we’re from the betty boards.
con: OH YOU ARE?! [with matching smile pa that lit up his face]
cate: would you have these signed for us? [giving him 2 betty cd leaflets and my AI mag] — [he signs klara's -- lucky girl!]
con: here…
cate: [coming out of the shock that came from his stare meeting mine] uh… we share the same bday!
con: oh really?
cate: yeah, i’m 17 this year
con: happy birthday! hey, i gotta leave you guys now… I love you very much *wink*

and mind you, we didnt stop there. we followed him to the presscon place, waited there for about 30mins before deciding to wait for him downstairs near the elevator that he used to climb up. we even saw, what we assume are CMST people.

it was around 6pm already. we waited for 2 fricking hours! we all people from all walks of life — a snatcher, rich, poor, conyo, average, blond, european, LAHAT NA. by 810pm…. he appeared [hay parang harry potter]! he spotted us, just the two of us, klara and cate, and he instantly smiled! *daydreaming na nakilala/natandaan nya kami* we tried to get more stuff signed but sadly, those bad bouncers didnt allow us to get near him. but what we got was sooooo much better…. guess?

A FRICKING POUT!!!!

omg! *dies* and it doesnt end there. after we recovered from the pout, i managed to choke out, “guess, we’ll see you on the 17th?” as if we are old friends [i dont mind lovers... lolz]. he was kinda listening intently to what i said and nodded. how i survived his gaze for 3seconds i dont know — but am still breathing ei? he smiled and waved back at us. *dies again* we followed him to the corner [sori kung malabo ang explanation/imagery] then he made a wrong turn. turned back and i said, “bye constantine. take care!”

and he replied with: “bye guys!”

haaaayyyy…. nakahinga rin. waaaaaahhhh!

so in summary, we received:
1 signed cd [klara]
3 smiles [1 each and 1 for both of us]
1 pout
1 eye-boink [my camphone]
2 winks [1 each]
1 nod

it’s starting to sink in na! final words: Good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue. [ay ang corny] but really, on a personal note, CONSTANTINE, I’LL SEND YOU MY FOOT SPA BILL. MY FEET ARE KILLING ME! nah…. I love you, baby greekboy!

yung exchange among con, klara and i – WE WERE THE ONLY FANS HE TALKED TO! i mean as in, up close! apart from the mYx pipz. it’s just the three of us! lolz…. as in sobrang promote na kaming 2 ay part ng Flip Betties.

kami lang din yung naghintay sa kanya after the presscon chuvaness. in that way — somehow, i can say that klara and i actually MET him.

so far, i have with me:
3 videos [borhap, constantine switching the xmas lights on, and just him]
5 pics of him AND ONLY HIM. yung tipong stalker-proximity pics ba. lolz

i’ll try to figure out how to upload em pix/vids from my camphone to my pc.

you know, Constantine’s really hot in person! Geez, i just saw him on TV on Studio23 — and oooooohhhh, it’s effing sinking in! I cant stop smiling now….

anyway, MiG ayesa is also here. he was in the same flight as Constantine’s. now, that flight rocked!!!!!!!!!
